Dr. Ava pioneered the personal development of Certified Loveologist Love Coaches, helping them to help the general public to reach their potential in their love lives.

Launching Loveology University is one of my dreams come true because I believe we teach what we need to learn the most. Raised in a repressed environment without positive life or love lessons from parents or peers, my main goal was to help make the world a better place by empowering people to overcome sexual guilt and shame. I established Loveology University in order to share the vast knowledge I have gained in the last 20 years offering students a wealth of information on love, relationships, intimacy and sex they may otherwise not have access to.

Dr. Ava has taken on the role as mentor to motivated students who will become Certified Loveologists. “This is the best way to guarantee my mission to promote the benefits of healthy love and intimacy around the world.”

Dr. Ava first came up with the terms ‘Loveology’ and ‘Loveologist’ when certain TV shows and networks refused to display her professional title if it had the word “Sex” in it, so they rejected her Clinical Sexologist title and Certified Sex Counselor because they were afraid the word ‘Sex’ would offend their viewers and advertisers. It became apparent there was a need for a new word that was going to be acceptable to all audiences. Loveology and Loveologist have now been trademarked, the media and Fortune 500 companies approve of the word with much acclaim and it is currently being considered as a new word in the Dictionary. The definition of a Loveologist is someone who studies the science of love. And of course, love encompasses romance, intimacy and sexuality!

Dr. Ava has a doctorate in human behavior from Newport University, CA and a doctorate of education in human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. She is a continuing education provider for the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences and the CA Board of Registered Nursing. Through her private practice in Los Angeles, she counsels people on personal issues that range from anger management, fear of commitment, lack of communication to lack of desire.

In summary, Dr. Ava says, “I continue to study and collaborate with therapists, social workers, doctors and scientists to pursue quality and distinction in my career.”
